Environmental, Health, and Safety Program Technician

Cooperative Educational Services Agency (CESA #10) located in Chippewa Falls, WI is seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety Program Technician to be based in Chippewa Falls. The technician will perform asbestos inspections, asbestos sampling, lead sampling, Indoor Air Quality testing, fume hood testing, and other duties as assigned for school districts and local government located throughout the state of Wisconsin. The technician will be considered a consultant in training and will have the potential to move into the consulting role at a later date.

The ideal candidate would possess a Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field. Past asbestos experience or licensing would be a plus. Oral and written communication, organizational, and analytical skills as well as experience using Microsoft Office Suite are desired.

This will primarily be a second shift position during the school year.

This is a full time, salaried position. Pay will commensurate with experience. An excellent benefit package will be provided.
