Universal Alloy Corporation is currently searching for an Environmental, Health, and Safety Specialist to provide focused leadership, mentoring, and program development to the North American Region. The goal is to drive an employee safety cultural attitude of zero accidents, reduce business risks, protect fixed assets, and reduce Workers> Compensation costs. This position will be responsible for providing and maintaining environmental, health, and safety procedures to support production, administrative personnel and contractor activity. This position will develop plant environmental, health and safety programs, and coordinate environmental and health & safety training programs. Monitor Federal and State regulations to ensure compliance, while ensuring that Universal Alloy Corporation policies and regulations pertaining to industrial hygiene (i.e. personal protective equipment, sanitary facilities, emergency equipment, etc.) are met. Qualified candidates must have excellent communication skills and the desire to lead change. This position will require the ability to work with individuals from varied backgrounds, skills, and education levels to complete projects in an efficient and organized manner.
